Support Sanjoaquin Audubon Society

San Joaquin Audubon Mission

San Joaquin Audubon mission is to promote the understanding, conservation, and enjoyment of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats through observation, outreach, science, and education.

If you would like to support our mission, please consider donating to San Joaquin Audubon Society through GivingWallets.

Here is a list of the ways that we use our funds:

  • Presence at community events – We have a booth at earth day celebrations, bird festivals, science festivals and more. Our banner, posters and supplies are in need of an upgrade.
  • Support for other organizations – We financially support the Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival, the Central Valley Birding Symposium and the California Breeding Bird Atlas.
  • Classroom & Outdoor Environmental Education – We are starting a program where teachers can sign up for us to come to their classroom to introduce the students to bird watching. We provide the supplies and binoculars to use during the presentation.
  • Bird nest boxes – We have installed nest boxes at two locations in the county and are expanding to other locations. We cover all the expenses.
  • Handouts – Our laminated bird guides we hand out free are very popular.
Ongoing expenses – insurance, web hosting, Zoom and MailChimp subscriptions, room rental and speaker honorariums for our monthly in-person meetings.

San Joaquin Audubon Society is a registered 501(C)(3) organization. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. EIN: 94-257665
